Overview

The rollout of CECAS enhancements includes a comprehensive training program to get users using the application as quickly as possible. Several approaches are employed as part of the training program:

Train-the-Trainer (TtT): The CECAS vendor and EC Delivery Team provide TtT sessions to the regional trainers across the state. The regional trainers will provide TtT sessions to the LEA Leadership Teams, including the CECAS Contacts.

Platform Training: Instructor-led training classroom style.

Virtual Training: Instructor-led online training sessions.

Web-based Training (WBT): Web-based training media that provides refresher training at the user's convenience.

The TtT sessions are designed for the EC Delivery Team, EC Division staff, Regional Consultants, Regional Trainers and the LEA Leadership Teams. It is at the discretion of the LEA to determine the composition of the leadership team. The purpose of this team is to be a training resource, make decisions as to how CECAS will be trained and implemented at their local level. It is the responsibility of the LEA Leadership Team to ensure that appropriate LEA staff remains competent with the CECAS application at all times.
