1. Who will pay for teacher training?

The LEAs and Charter Schools will be responsible for providing and funding CECAS user training for EC teachers. LEAs and Charter Schools will realize improved efficiencies and cost savings once they invest in learning the capabilities of this system and use CECAS to manage EC student demographic data and the online IEPs and other EC forms and reports.

2. How does NC DPI support CECAS users and the application?

NC DPI and the EC Delivery Team have designed a multi-level support model that includes local, departmental and vendor assistance. Additionally, Regional CECAS Trainers are resources that LEAs can contact for help.
