1. How do I submit a request to change incorrect data?
NCDPI will no longer use the CECAS Data Request form. Please follow the new process below for submitting a data change to CECAS Support.
Send Email to cecas.incidents@its.nc.gov and include a brief description of the issue in the Subject line (ex. Delete Form).
Make sure to COPY AND PASTE the CECAS UID into the body of the email (no names or NCWISE IDs please).
Include more details in the body of the email as needed, including any dates to be changed.
If requesting to have a form deleted, please include the Created On Date from the EC Forms List screen in CECAS.
More than one request may be submitted per incident but please do not exceed 10 per incident.
*Please do not send emails containing any personally identifiable information. Only include the CECAS UID*

Body of email:
538ADB2DWY - Please change the Region/LEA begin date from 9/9/2010 to 9/15/2010.
2.How do I open a close/verified DEC 4 to change state testing modifications that were entered incorrectly by the case manager?
Close Verified forms can not be opened or changed. You must create a copy and then amend it. To create a copy, go to the EC Forms screen and select new. Select the IEP DEC4 from the drop list and wait a moment until you see the copy of last IEP checkbox on the screen. Check the box and click save. The new draft IEP will be a copy of the most current closed/verified DEC4.
